GDS reports 2Q17 results; bookings growth continues to accelerate through cloud relationships
GDS reported its 2Q17 results which showed a slight downtick in revenue growth though it did make meaningful headway in terms of deploying its colocation backlog which should translate into a notable amount of revenue growth in the coming quarters. GDS continues to take advantage of its position as one of the few carrier-neutral colocation providers in mainland China that is able to effectively cater to the large scale requirements coming from the large cloud, Internet and enterprise firms.
